Legacy of Play
Legacy of Play was a motto started by A.C. Gilbert, that promotes learning through play! Legacy of Play Day is our opportunity to close the museum and offer children served by organizations helping those who are furthest from opportunity to enjoy a special day to play at Gilbert House.
Summer Block Party
Summer Block Party is the best way to kick off summer! It is a celebration and unique time to play at the museum that includes food and music.
Gilbert House for Grown-Ups
Gilbert House for Grown Ups is a celebration for all of the parents! To continue the importance of play throughout generations, we open the museum to adults to release their inner child. This event is for adults 21+ only; we serve adult beverages. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet other parents in the area and PLAY!
Halloween Re-Engineered provides children with an opportunity to safely trick-or-treat Gilbert House style. In the spirit of A. C. Gilbert himself, we use gizmos, gadgets, mechanisms, and devices to deliver treats to children.
