Important Information:
To ensure everyone's enjoyment of the Gabby's Dollhouse Meet & Greet, admission is required for all museum visitors. Members listed on their membership can use their membership for admission. All others must purchase an admission ticket. Please note that everyone, adults and children, should have reserved a spot to see Gabby. Due to the event being sold out, any additions to your party beyond the adult/s accompanying the children with tickets will be added to the standby line.

Get Ready for a Meow-gical Adventure!
We’re excited to welcome Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse for a special Meet & Greet on April 6th at Gilbert House Children's Museum! Participating in the Meet & Greet is available for members and non-members at no additional cost, but we recommend reserving your spot before the event. The Meet & Greet requires an event ticket reserved or purchased online. Standby will be available on the day of the event and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Meet & Greet Details:
Join us for a timed Meet & Greet with Gabby, including a special family photo opportunity. Space is limited to just five sessions at:

- Lineup begins 15 minutes before your reserved time
- Your wristband color will match your session time
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times

But the fun doesn’t stop there! From March 24 to April 6, join us for Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days! Celebrate with themed crafts, a Spring Break Gabby scavenger hunt, creative play, Gabby make and take story time 4/6, and DJ Catnip’s purr-fect playlist. These hands-on activities will spark creativity, teamwork, and social-emotional learning for kids and families.
Don’t miss out on this fur-bulous experience, presented by DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums! If you can’t make it to the Meet & Greet, no worries—there will be plenty of cat-tastic activities in our Parrish House to enjoy!

Metered & Permit Parking:

The city-metered parking lot and permit lot (marked by signs) are available at no cost on weekends and legal holidays.

Parking availability may be affected by events at Riverfront Park—check the City of Salem’s website for additional parking options.
Downtown Parking Lots
For extended visits, all-day free parking is available at designated spots in downtown parkades.

We're thrilled to announce we'll have Millers bbq cafe, Street Sweets, Origin Story Coffee and Tates coffee and Juice Bar joining us for the Gabby's Dollhouse Meet & Greet! Come enjoy delicious food and refreshing drinks while soaking up the sunshine and all the meow-gical activities we have planned.

Spring Break Scavenger Hunt: Go on a paw-some adventure to find Gabby’s pals, the Gabby Cats, hidden throughout the museum during a scavenger hunt inspired by CatRat from Gabby’s Dollhouse! (March 24 - 28)
Make and Take Story Time in Wilson Durbin 4/6 at 10:45, 12:15 and 1:45 with a special Gabby Craft not seen in Parrish.
Kitty Ears: Craft meow-gical Kitty Ears and Enchanted Fairy Wings in the Parrish House inspired by Baby Box from Gabby’s Dollhouse! (March 17-April 6)
DJ Catnip Jingle Jam Tambourine: Get crafty and make some noise! Design your own Gabby’s Dollhouse-inspired tambourine, then shake along to the beat as you bring your creation to life. (March 17-April 6)
CraftRat: Get ready to bring your creativity to life by crafting your very own CraftRat inspired by CatRat from Gabby’s Dollhouse! Use colorful materials and fun embellishments to design a one-of-a-kind character that’s as unique as you are. Perfect for little builders and big imaginations! (March 17-April 6)
Kitty Cards: Tell your cat-tastic friends how great they are by making a Kitty Card in the Art Studio inspired by Pandy Paws from Gabby’s Dollhouse! (March 17-April 6)
Color Your Favorite Gabby’s Dollhouse Characters: Grab a coloring page and bring all your favorite characters to life! From Gabby and Pillow Cat to DJ Catnip, CatRat, and more, you can color them however you like. Perfect for creative fun and an adventure through Gabby’s colorful world!
