The Gilbert House Children's Museum is seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team. In a vital support role to the Promotions Coordinator, this position focuses on building strong relationships within our community, fostering connections, and driving engagement to support our mission of providing enriching experiences for children and families. The Community Outreach Coordinator will play a key role in developing and maintaining a robust donor procurement program, expanding our outreach efforts, and collaborating on promotional events, including our signature annual events. This role is crucial for enhancing the museum's name recognition, expanding our volunteer base, and significantly contributing to our donation and auction item procurement efforts.
The schedule for this position will be Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 5:30 pm.
Part Time
Gilbert House Children's Museum welcomes over 100,000 visitors annually and provides a multitude of opportunities for families to engage in learning through creative play. The Welcome Desk Staff creates a positive first impression of the museum by handling entry transactions professionally and accurately.
Gilbert House Children’s Museum provides learning through creative play opportunities for children, with focus on children ages 2-10. Welcome Desk Staff handles the entry transactions of members and visitors. They must be able to be positive and perform the duties in a precise and courteous manner.
The schedule for this position is Friday through Sunday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

The Gilbert House Children's Museum is seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team in a role that highlights the educational impact of our exhibits and programs. This position plays a key part in our mission to inspire children to learn and grow through play by integrating educational elements into hands-on experiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate with museum staff to design, implement, and evaluate engaging learning opportunities that align with developmental milestones and educational standards. A strong understanding of child development, informal education, and playful learning is essential to ensure that every exhibit and program fosters curiosity, exploration, and meaningful learning.
The schedule for this position will be Sunday through Thursday 9 am to 5:30 pm.
