Community Play Day
A Day of Discovery, Learning, and Pure Play!
Monday, February 16th | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

What to Expect:
- Explore the Whole Museum: Families have full access to our three big houses filled with interactive exhibits and our massive Outdoor Discovery Area.
- Creative Stations: Join our museum educators and community partners for hands-on crafts and activities.
- Delicious Samples: Enjoy complimentary snack-size samples provided by our generous local partners.
- The Reading Nest Pop-Up: We are excited to host a pop-up with The Reading Nest! They are a nonprofit free book service bringing inclusive, accessible books to our community. They will be fostering a love of reading through literacy activities and providing free books for families to take home.
- Capture the Moment: Visit our photo booth to take home a souvenir of your day of play!

Information for Community Partners
Are you a non-profit or organization in Marion or Polk County that serves children and families? We want to partner with you!
We are currently building our invitation list for this year's event. Partnering organizations will receive:
- Promotional Materials: Digital flyers and graphics to share with your families.
- Exclusive Registration Links: Dedicated sign-up links to ensure the families you serve can secure their spot.
Important Dates for Partners:
- Friday, Jan 9th: Deadline to provide a quick estimate of how many people (children and adults) you expect may attend from your organization.
- Monday, Jan 12th: Promotional materials and official registration links will be sent to all partners.
