Gilbert House Children’s Museum is seeking a self-motivated, creative individual that enjoys working in a collaborative work environment as our new Promotions Coordinator. The duties and responsibilities of this position include creating and distributing promotional materials for events, fundraisers, and activities, as well as creating all graphics and layouts for marketing designs including ads, flyers, posters, newsletters, brochures, fundraising campaigns and more. The Promotions Coordinator will manage the social media presence, create bi-monthly emails and maintain the WordPress website for Gilbert House Children’s Museum. This position also includes monitoring and promoting media coverage for the organization. The promotions coordinator will ensure print and online presence is consistent with branding guidelines, and will seek promotional outreach opportunities.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field and at least two years professional work experience in the field. Criminal background check required. The position is part-time, 25 hours a week, with some weekend and evening work. The salary is based on experience.
