Donate to Gilbert House Children’s Museum

Gilbert House Children’s Museum is a nonprofit organization. We strive to provide educational opportunities for our community with our 15 hands-on exhibits and 20,000-square foot Outdoor Discovery Area, field trips and daily programs.  This means that our organization relies on funding beyond our admissions memberships and rentals. We receive support from our community partner, the City of Salem, and funding from foundations, business sponsorships and individual donations. All gift funding goes towards creating a better museum, new exhibits and more educational opportunities for our visitors.

Please consider including Gilbert House Children’s Museum in your charitable giving. Your gift to our nonprofit organization is tax deductible and will help us continue to build more educational opportunities at the museum. Your gift of:
• $50 is enough to help a family receive a reduced-price Museum membership
• $100 could purchase books for literacy enhancements to exhibits
• $250 could buy equipment for our new science-based field trip enhancements
• $500 could buy a computer for our new technology lab

Your donation will help us create and continue exceptional educational programming, hands-on exhibits, and give access to more children and families to come to Gilbert House Children’s Museum to create happy memories.

We also invite local businesses to partner with Gilbert House Children’s Museum to create new exhibits. It is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to creative learning experiences for young children and to let the community know more about your company.

Gilbert House Children’s Museum also appreciates local business sponsorship of events hosted by our museum. The sponsorship donation is used for the costs of the event and facilities that host the event. The sponsorships include name exposure for your business at the event and all promotional materials for the event.
