Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for guests to enjoy the Matthew Price Band, with adult beverages and food from the Kitchen on Court Street available. “Brewing with Chemistry” presented by Sean Martin of Gilgamesh will begin at 7:30 p.m.  Learn about brewing from the standpoint of a chemist.  The presentation will touch on malting, and hop chemistry, as well as yeast metabolism.

Join Tony Smiley, The Loop Ninja, for a live musical performance.  Local beer available for purchase, along with food from the Kitchen on Court Street.  Our feature presentation, “Cold Water Diving in the Emerald Seas,” welcomes underwater photographer and divemaster Laura Tesler to take you under the waters into the clear, cold, nutrient rich seas of the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia that host an array of  beautiful creatures, and have reefs that rival the beauty of tropical reefs.  Come and learn why divers from all over the world make the long journey to Port Hardy on Vancouver Island to dive these special waters teeming with life.
