The Basic Party

• Admission to the Village's three activity filled houses
and A.C.'s Backyard - an outdoor science area

The Whole Shebang Party

All the contents of the Basic Party Plus:

• A decorated party cake, beverages, ice cream,
1 dozen helium filled balloons

• Plates, cups, napkins, and utensils for 18 guests

• Party setup and cleanup

The WD Party

Come celebrate in the Wilson Durbin House - a large, bright multi-purpose room overlooking the river.

All the contents of the Basic Party Plus:

• Up to 30 guests maximum (children and adults)

The WD Whole Shebang Party

All the contents of the Whole Shebang Party Plus:

• Supplies for 30

• 2 hour time slot remains the same

After-School Special

Members $75 / Nonmembers $95

Bring the birthday child and friends from school and celebrate with a party at A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village. The after-school special provides admission for a total of 18 people, a private party room rental from 3:30-4:30, and invitations to send to each of your guests! Available weekdays when school is in session only.

Add an Activity

Add a special activity to a birthday party package for
an additional $4.00 per child (minimum of five children).

Photo Shop: Ages 3 and up

Picture this! We will take a Polaroid photo for each guest. Children will then get to decorate a great keep-sake frame for their photos.

Treasure Hunt: Ages 6 and up

Shiver me timbers! Hunt for hidden clues through out the Village to find the treasure. Everyone wins a prize in this treasure hunt.

Add a Class (for ages 6 and up only)

Take your party up a notch by adding one of our hands-on education classes in science, art or humanities. See our online Education Program Guide under Classes & Camps for all class options or call 503-371-3631 for more information on how to add one of A.C. Gilbert's classes to your party!

Themed Parties

Members $180 / Non-members $200

Includes all components of a Whole Shebang party with a themed cake and staff to conduct all games and activities. Maximum children allowed in a themed party is 12. Total number of guests allowed is 18 (includes 6 adults).

Princesses, Castles, and Knights...Oh my!

It's a party for royalty! Celebrate by making a very special crown, decorating royal picture frames, and a game of King's Crown! Maximum 12 children, ages 3 and up.

Pirate Party for ages 6 and up

Join us for a pirate treasure party and you'll surely leave with some loot! Make an eye patch, hunt for treasure, and play along with a tale from the high seas! Maximum 12 children, ages 6 and up.

Dinosaur Party for ages 4 and up

A larger than life party for the prehistoric dinosaur in all of us! With games and activities such as musical extinction, pin the tooth on the T-Rex, and cookie dough fossils, everyone is sure to have a roaring-good time! Maximum 12 children, ages 4 and up.

Garden Party for ages 3 and up

It's springtime year round with our Garden Party! Create a unique stepping-stone for your garden and play fun games like Bug Boogie and Who Has the Flower. Maximum 12 children, ages 3 and up.

Please Note that…

- Scheduling subject to room and time availability.
- Themed cake is an additional $5.
- Parties and activities must be reserved at least 5 days in advance.
- There is a 5 person minimum for an activity.
- Activities take approximately 30-45 minutes.
