*Group Rate Information

To find out more about scheduling a group, call 503-371-3631.
Advanced scheduling is required to receive group rates.

Group rate is $4.00 per person. This rate is applicable to organized groups of 10 or more paid admissions. One adult chaperone for every 5 students is required and is admitted free. Additional adults are admitted at the group rate. We reserved the right to refuse admission to any group that does not have the required number of chaperones.

The Group rate for Title I schools and Head Starts is $3.00 per child. Required chaperones are free. Additional chaperones must pay the regular $4.00 group rate.

Accessibility

The first floors of our exhibit houses are wheelchair accessible as is most of our outdoor area.

Directions

A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village is located under the Marion Street Bridge
in Salem's Riverfront Park near the bank of the Willamette River.

From Hwy 22 Eastbound:
Cross the Center St. Bridge (over the Willamette River) into Salem; keep to the left and take the Portland - 99E Exit; at the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Front St.; take first left (Union St.), then into our parking lot.

From 1-5:
Market St. Exit #256 West on Market St.; turn left on Commercial St.; keeping in right lane, take Front St (sign says Business 99E).; turn right at Union St. (first light); then left into our parking lot.
