Dinostories

Dinostories is an exhibit that takes a fresh look at an ancient age. This colorful, hands-on exhibit from The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry combines science and literacy to give visitors a chance to explore the lives and habitats of these wonderful "terrible lizards." Visitors can crawl into a life-sized dinosaur nest and curl up on top of model eggs, unearth a fossil cast of an ancient dinosaur, and read dinosaur books in chairs that resemble real dinosaur heads. The exhibit library reinforces books as sources of information. When children investigate topics of interest to them such as dinosaurs, they want to learn the words, read the signs, and books associated with the topic.

Imagination Station

Learn about the life of our namesake, A.C. Gilbert. The exhibit includes an audio station (two programs: English and Spanish), a puzzle station, an Erector Set play station, flip books, packaging and samples of the many toys and appliances created by A.C. Gilbert in the course of his amazing life.
